A Mind Full Of Nothing But Continue

akrinks I love the way in which this 25 minute track is broken down into separate little songs that seamlessly merge together. Paul Smith's captivating voice is accompanied by harmonious and haunting vocals, which together creates a beautiful melody. For me, music is very visual and I could totally imagine the conifers on the roundabouts, the stone clad bus stops and the Kittiwakes along the coastline! Descriptive lyrics throughout. Highly recommend.

melliesully Although I'm not, nor ever will be a runner so wouldn't benefit from using this as pacing, I found that once I'd heard this track, I had to keep pressing repeat!
Soothing but Energising, Meditative and Onomatopoeic with just the right amount of ' Little April Showers ' from Bambi to appeal to my own childhood reassurances. This is a masterpiece of voice and sound.
Have a listen and enjoy something a little bit different from the usual.
Paul Smith, Thank You!

about

This mostly 'a capella' album is a journey along the route of the Great North Run, from Cowgate in Newcastle city centre, over the green girders of the Tyne Bridge, concluding in South Shields, by the coast. It mirrors the runners' thoughts as they pass along their route, and describes the often unseen details of their surroundings.
